
For sale is used Elcon PFC 1500 battery charger.
72v Nominal. User programmable range is 71 to 80v peak. (switch underneath the white voltage range label)
Charge current is 16A.
By default it is set to peak voltage of 75v. See PFC1500 user manual explanation on how to re-program.
DC output connects via Anderson SB50 connector
AC input is Nema 6-20P for 240VAC operation and also includes slick adapter to Nema 5-15P for 110VAC operation.
This charge enable type charger. Shown in picture is shorted charge enable circuit. Safe operation requires 1 or all of the following
BMS to control charge enable closure
BMS control of charging contactor
BMS control of mechanical relay on AC input into charge.
Also, recommend a manual switch on the charge enable circuit so charger can be turned off without arcing.
Comes with charge enable black/blue circular connector circuit. Indicator LED on side of unit.
Also, recommend a 20A to 30A fuse on DC output.
If running on 110VAC, unit runs at high wattage so only run it on unpopulated 110VAC circuit with 15 to 20A wall limit with breaker. Keep extension cord length to minimum. 14AWG or bigger cables.
